“Tread wisely, as the forest of the dead does not take kindly to the living...”
Through the use of parallax and a walk cycle, a perception of depth and dynamism had been created to bring the ten-second animated illustration to life. The haunting environment, colour, timing, props, lighting, and shadow were carefully selected to establish an eerie atmosphere around the supernatural character with an exposed skeletal torso.
