The main inspirations that led to the creation of this thirty-three-second title sequence was Medusa, a gorgon famous for her eyes of petrification in Greek mythology, and Thalassemia, a hereditary blood disorder. The Kings of Medusa features the royal descendants of Medusa who are plagued with an illness as a result of their ancestor’s curse.
